Now I'm stripping surface rust off from underneath lying in the driveway and painting with red oxide followed by some hammerite (i know its not what it used to be!). Hopefully it will help 'slouchy' survive a few more years!!

I got a replacement aftermarket one off eBay last week. The mounting holes need a little adjustment to line up correctly but its an easy fit as the aftermarket one is a good 50% lighter than the OME ones so easy to hold in place while fitting.
