On mine when the far right sensor power wire broke at the connector, three out of four were clicking but I still got a long tone from the sensors and they didn't work. I presume a safety feature to warn you that not all the sensors are working to prevent you relying on a partial field of view from the remaining sensor.

Subsequently to this another part of the loom failed stopping all the sensors in the end
