Hi Paul,

What do you mean by "gone faulty"? The oil cooler can give trouble in two ways:
  1. Mixing of oil and coolant resulting in mayonnaise and an incorrect diagnosis of head gasket failure.
  2. Blockage of the coolant duct by K-seal.
When the engine overheats, what is the temperature reading on the instrument pack diagnostic display? Is the cooling fan running continuously at high speed? Is any coolant ejected from the expansion tank cap?
