Thermostat housing or the O ring on the pipe next to it are both known leak points. Easier to see looking up from underneath with the undertray removed and the car on axle stands, but visible from above. Neither would leak onto the gearbox though.

My top hose connection to the engine failed big time a few years ago so that might be worth a look if the FBH bypass is OK.
