My last set of Delphi drop links lasted over 4 years and over 40k miles before developing a slight play on one side. The current set from the same manufacturer has been on for over 2 years and 20k miles. Delphi provide a 3yr/36k mile warranty on their drop links.

Similarly, Meyle provide a 4-year warranty on their HD drop links for our cars.

Given the general state of affairs and peoples' experiences with inferior products, why would you fit anything else?

It's also worth considering how it is that a generic drop link of unknown origin can be warranted by a supplier(retailer) for 2 or 3 years. IMO the answer lies in buying cheap and accepting the loss on warranty claims in the case of a few customers who bother to make a claim.

IMO only a warranty from the manufacturer is in any way indicative of the quality of the product.
