My front lawns have more moss in them than grass, It's the same every year
You get them looking great up until Nov/Dec then come Spring time they've turned into green sponges with the sheer amount of rain we get here.
I usually set the mower on it's lowest setting & scalp them before treating them with moss killer, They look dreadful until the grass comes through again.
