John Woods Motorcare may be able to help, they do a lot of work on classics as well as being a modern MG specialists. When ever I visit, there's always a few K series being worked on and a few MG 6s outside so they should know whats what.
You could have a nice holiday in north wales too, it's not a bad place to visit.
