Tried to remove rear anti roll bar brackets with intention of replacing with new bushes and better bar. Failed at the first hurdle as the bolt just turned. Is the top nut supposed to be captive and welded to the body? If not how does one get a spanner on the top nut please?
Failing that, I removed a brace across the exhaust pipe tunnel and have cleaned, treated and repainted. Will leave to harden for a few days before refitting. Quite surprised how clean body is underneath. Intend to lightly rub down with Scotch pad, spray with hammerite and then spray with Dynax-50 before replacing brace.
Slowly but surely improving and life extending.
