Sadly there are still some who say that the only real MGs were built in Abingdon and that the zed cars are really only re badged Rovers.
I remember going on an MGCC run in my TF and being told that they preferred proper MGs not the Longbridge rubbish - times change lol
(It was a great run by the way, didnt have to open the bonnet once unlike the chap in his proper MG
