V6 has been resting in the drive since early December as I have been waiting for better weather to tackle ABS fault that is preventing me putting MOT on it. The arrival of TOAF to pinpoint the fault and the nice weather to work on it has galvinised me:
Here it is :
Pinpointed with TOAF:
I was optimistic that the sensor could be pulled out, no such luck, it snapped clean off:
This resulted in hub and disk needing to be removed, thankfully the hub nut looked as clean as when it left the factory, not bad for a 2001 car:
Mangled sensor could now be drifted out, notice the corrosion inside sensor hole:
Cleaned up ready for new sensor:
The hub looked very dirty and was also cleaned up:
Reset with software:
A quick 10 minute drive and the light has stayed off, just need a new exhaust and hopefully iy will be ready for MOT.
