Garage fitted Newer Silver resistor Fan unit last Friday, tested it and surprise surprise fan didn't kick in.
Garage were going to wire it so it came on permanent until I said wait test the resistor for open circuit and hey presto it was open circuit. They have temporarily bypassed the resistor, and I have ordered one from Jules so will have a bash at fitting that once it arrives.
