The fuel in the filter canister was dark black with a lot of particulates in the fuel and at the bottom of the canister. I used a small syringe to suck out the contaminated fuel. Cleaned everything up and then WD40 on the new O rings as per T Cut’s ‘How To’. Put in the new filter and lined up, screwed the halves together and then added the magic clip to stop it unwinding again. I cleaned the surfaces of the old tank seal and managed to seat it better this time, then tightened it down with the universal tool I found on the Bay.
