I’m considering leasing a van next time, 3/4 year contract, road tax included, all Imhave to do is put fuel in and insure it, and a service once a year. All breakdowns would be covered by warranty. Yeah it would cost be c £230/250 pm, but considering what I would pay on a personal,loan for a used vehicle, and still have to pay tax and repair costs, it would balance out. The current van is 9 years old this year, only worth half what I paid for it, less than a year ago, and has cost me in excess of £1200 in repair costs in the first 7 months of ownership. So never again will I buy a vehicle for business. Once the current car is paid for, I will,look into a lease vehicle as it’s replacement.
