It is a long time since I logged into this forum for my own reasons.

2018 was a very hard year for myself and my wife Anne with health issues but the big blow has now struck Anne, Anne is only 56 and has been struck down with Cancer, She was fine on the run up to Christmas and only started getting problems on Boxing Day. She visited the GP on the 27th of December with right shoulder pain and pain at the bottom of the ribs on the same side, the GP diagnosed Pleurisy and prescribed antibiotics. This made no difference and the pain got worse, Anne then saw another GP who took bloods and sent her on her way, another 5 day wait and she was asked to go to the surgery for more bloods, After all the delays she was admitted to hospital on the 10th of this month after a 9 hour wait for a bed. Sadly the diagnoses is Primary Bowel Cancer and Metastasis on the liver, the liver cancer is advanced. She is home but very poorly and the prognosis in not good with palliative care the most likely outcome. We see the Oncologist on the 22nd with their treatment plan.

It is a very hard time for the whole family and of course Anne.

Trevor, I am so sad for you and your wife a very worrying time indeed, Dawn and I hope that everything than can be done will be done.
We had a scare just before Christmas Dawn came down with a severe case of Jaundice, after a Ct scan it was found she had a lesion on her Liver and a lump in here breast, unlike Anne it was found both were benign with Dawn.

Please take care of yourselves.
