Reading all that makes me feel so much better after putting the front of the car back together without testing the new horns and having to strip it all off again before spotting the unplugged plug.
It seems that these cars sometimes prefer to be left alone.
No fiddling allowed or you will regret it.
The next time should go smoothly as you seem to have had plenty of practice.
