Some years ago, before I got the connectors done properly, the light came on the night before the MOT. Waggling the connectors often worked, so kneeled down in a car park and reached under the seat – after comprehensively jiggling, I tried to pull my hand out again.
Note to self (in the style of a
VIZ Top Tip) – when sticking your hand into a confined space, don’t use your left hand, as your watch will jam very firmly behind something, and you’ll make a complete NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- of yourself for the best part of ¾ of an hour outside a doctor’s surgery, till eventually you manage somehow to free yourself again…
Light stayed off and passed the test next day though
PS strange about the latency setting... never ever had to mess with that
