Thanks for the encouragement! I feel like I could clean it up fairly well and I have got four new brushes ready to go in. My main thought was that I didn't fancy putting the car back together and then having to take it all apart again in a few months if the repair fails.



I'll have a go at cleaning the board up tomorrow and take some more pictures - you're right that there's nothing to lose!
