Cheers,
Karl.
From my experience I feel the climate control system not just fiddly but positively dangerous as I defy anyone to say they can alter where the warm air goes on a cold morning without taking your eyes off the road.

I had a duel zone manual system on the old Discovery and it was infinitely safer to alter the settings on the move because it could be done by feel. I knew where demist was on the dial and right next to that was a dial that controlled the fan. The another two dials were the temp dials.

Everything was tactile friendly and so much easier to use when driving.

I would LOVE to convert to a manual system - dual zone would be nice and look better but the reality is for me that the climate control is the very worst design flaw on our otherwise fantastic cars.
