End of the day, I spend maybe 5% of my time looking at the outside of my car, and 95% behind the wheel. To me, it's the interior that's important. As it happens I own a Mk2 simple because it was the right car at the right time, however, it now sports a real wood walnut interior and I am planning on changing the colour of the clock lights to orange. For me, mk1 or mk2 matters not.
