SWMBO is waiting for an op on a hammer toe - so expect the same sort of delays.
My last op was for a my umbilical hernia that ruptured when I lifted a large bag of wet straw - wet straw mess is a lot heavier than you think!
The op was fine - woke up not even realising it had been done.
