Mr Andrews my Consultant Surgeon was able to do keyhole surgery which is far better for me.
However things didn't go very well as l was in surgery over 4hrs. Won't know what happened until later.
Have had hardly any sleep, been in lot pain plus they won't let me lie flat so l don't fit on the bed being nearly 6ft 5" tall.
I was able to eat so had tuna sandwiches then 2hrs later had mashed potato, sausages, peas with gravy. Followed by creamy rice pudding, gorgeous it was.
How the food has improved, years ago it was inedible.
Thank you very much for all the comments and encouragement as having no next of kin makes things rather lonely.
I have been working on my "bucket list".
Things l want to do next year.
