It's very hard. I wonder if any of us would be any better? Being told you can't drive is a real kick in the teeth and can make men in particular feel emasculated.
We finally got my old man's keys off him when he reversed out the drive and buried the boot in the scenery on the opposite side of the road. It was just lucky he didn't hit anyone.
