I purchased some Mayle HD drop links after the Lemforders failed within a year. The rubber boots around the roll bar end are not a tight fit on the stubs, and only had weak rubber bands securing them rather than the usual metal spring clips.

The Mayle look better, but are they worth painting? If these dont last the year either seems a waste of time.
