Great chaps
As usual , excellent help / observations that are really welcome and a big thanks to all . I believe the common term for the problem is ‘Fin Rot’ and Salt from the road or Sea air seems the culprit.
Arctic was right - it is indeed my condenser (rather than radiator – your photos most useful Steve) and the intercooler that are badly hit . Photo from Suzublu certainly confirms this.
I note that Rimmers have a ‘Genuine’ MG intercooler for £336 but an ‘Aftermarket’ one for £210 . I am tempted by the latter – any views on ‘Aftermarket’ quality are welcome before I get the orders under way ?
All the best.
