Mine was on a V6. It was (apparently) a Borg and Beck. Rigid metal pipes. Kept weeping so lost clutch pedal every couple of weeks.
Cheap parts are only cheap if they do the same job as the relatively more expensive parts. Not if they cost the owner a fortune in time and recurring repairs, not to mention additional landfill.
