Very low heat in the oven, yes oven, makes the gunk holding them together go soft but very tacky and messy. If you don't fancy the oven method then a hairdryer can be pressed into service. Some people swear they are easier to take apart with them cold but I have always applied some heat to get headlamps apart. Perfectly normal for them to be sealed like this.
