Like you Antonio the mechanic I use said to fit the hydro one. Mine is auto so would need it in drive and see what happened.

Oh and yes the bottom one is a 10ish minute job but I hate lying under cars so he did it on the ramps. Only out about 15 mins but no difference at all, b!@#$d
Time to move on then, the problem here is we can all speculate on what is the problem at a distance, based upon our own experiences.

However you have the benefit of having Antonio the "mechanic" (??) looking at your car, so why didn't he investigate the problem properly?

He could have put the car on a lift and checked the condition of the lower mount, and to be perfectly honest he should have done so.

That way you could have saved yourself from wasting a few quid, and it would have saved you from blaming people attempting to help you for your mechanics failings.
