Just been reading some earlier posts and saw a reference to the Rover Mk3 satnav unit not able to be upgraded.

As I just bought a BMW software upgrade cd that claims to work with Rover units, can somebody tell me if I'll wreck my system if I try to install the new software?

If it was a computer, I'd back up the system but as it's not, I thought I'd better check!
