I took all my torque wrenches to work and calibrated them using the brand new very expensive ones on site that came complete with calibration certificates.
Tightened a nut and bolt with my wrench on the bolt and theirs on the nut and made sure they both clicked at the same time set at various different torques. My old Norbar was spot on and one of my cheap ones was all over the place - depending on the torque setting it deviated from 6 to 16%.
