Thanks for all your comments and advice.
I just thought I would let you know what I decided to buy.
I had a look at Lidl and Aldi but they did not appear to have any torque wrenches for sale at the moment. I considered Norbar, Draper, Clarke, Teng and eventually decided on a Halfords Advanced Torque Wrench Model 100 1/2" drive and 20 - 100Nm range together with a Halfords 2 piece socket adaptor set.
