I prefer making my own curries etc, least you can control what's in them and you know its not loaded with monosodium glutamate. Very occasionally have a Chinese (very limited "menu" that I like), not a fan of Indian. Main thing I'm not keen on with takeaways is they always have hulking great lumps of onion, I'm ok with the flavour contribution from onion but finely chopped, not huge great divots of it.
