I'm surprised none of the news outlets have picked up on the level of fill issue at petroi stations.
It used to be that petrol station tanks were kept full, partly to minimise the effect of condensation.
Now the "just in time" mob have made sure that the least practical amount of fuel is kept in stock, this resulted in some stations running out when they needn't have.
Petrol suppliers could, if they wished, use the pfs tanks as storage instead of keeping it in the refineries.
The crisis appears to have happened because a small number of stations ran out, people panicked and caused a run which emptied many stations.
No use blaming people for panicking, I am retired now, but if I was still working my priority would be to ensure that I had enough fuel to enable me to work as I am sure most people on here would do.
