The plastic scrivets should have been able to carefully prise out with a screwdriver. Any that I had issue with, were prised out and reshaped to fit again.

No new nuts with my new dampers. I'll get some from Rimmers.
The scrivets wouldn't come out by prising, not without damaging the bumper anyway.
