does anyone know how much the sound insulation helps on a diesel? I'm curious as I've added extra sound insulation to the doors as part of my ICE install, and was astonished how much quieter the car seemed - the only noise I detect now as i drive is a whistle and some resonance from my cheap pattern part undertray. Other than that it is like driving the Red October. I have an oem one ready to go on, just waiting for a more opportune (ok ok, warmer/dryer) day. I'm just curious if they do make a lot of difference if anyone knows?
