You're not alone, mines doing the same after an alternator change, it's charging fine but battery light is glowing all the time. I'm led to believe that there is some wiring that can change through round by the washer bottle area, it's a bumper off job to check, bumper off is a simple job but I always struggle getting it back on
so I've not bothered too much.
