I've just replaced one arm on my car, and the arm I removed was the original, as is the one still fitted to the other side.

I suspect although I've fitted a good quality aftermarket replacement arm made by the same people who made the originals (TRW) I strongly suspect it won't last as long as the original.


I understand where you are coming from though, but it's simply not necessary to replace for replacements sake
