Sorry mate I think our wires have been crossed or dyslexia has gotten the better of me, if it did I apologise.
The bushes were duff. I removed the sub frame so I could replace them.
The sub frame was rusty in places and I did not think I would do a good enough job of cleaning it back to metal, so got a new sub frame.
I removed the arms from the old sub frame, removed the bushes, fitted new bushes and fitted the arms and new bushes to the new sub frame.

If I've led people down the garden path I'm very sorry I did not mean too.
