So I'm helping my son replace the front discs and pads on his Corsa C.
Having removed the nearside wheel caliper/carrier and disc we found that the large end of the CV boot was off of the cone, broken band.
Now I have never removed/payed with a CV joint so all I wanted to do was put the boot back and secure using large cable ties just to last a couple of months until the service/mot (late October)
Problem is we can't get the boot over the cone
Has anyone got any tips/advice?
Steve
