Off topic - I used new cooking oil in my Reliant Scimitar GTdiesel*. Ran like a dream, but it ran like a pig on the recovered / treated "bio-fuel" sold by a local commercial manufacturer. I did wonder if BMW diesels like cooking oil. (is there a fuel heater built into the filter system? I don't mean the FBH....)
