On Artic's advice I got a cheap broom handle from Wilko today for £1.50 ready to cut to length to get those pesky seat squab lock bars locked. Started with a carpet clean up finding a few more coins along the way then tackled the seat. I removed the rags behind the seat back and managed this time with the help of a neighbour to get locked both ends, then also the seat itself, all locked tight. Best thing was the broom handle was not needed, but maybe another time of course!

The other problem of the rear blind is ongoing, as it will go up but not down. I'll try adjusting the screws mentioned to move it over a little.
However, off to Cornwall tomorrow for a few days, so it will have to wait.
Good to chat and see some beautiful other cars. Weather not too bad either!
Until hopefully next year.

Glad you got it sorted Ray , does the seat fold aswell or are you not risking it now it's clipped in both sides ?

Regarding the blind it may need a strip down as I think the mechanisms may have moved, but you could try a bit of furniture polish on the top runner were the two arms go has been known to work!
