Sites like How Many Left rely on DVLA data - and the problem with MG Rover vehicles (and some other brands) is that some dealerships recorded information about the exact vehicle type differently to others.

For example, I have a 75 Diesel.
This could be with the DVLA as:
- Rover 75
- Rover 75 Connoisseur
- Rover 75 Connoisseur CDTi
- Rover 75 SE
- Rover 75 Connoisseur Automatic
- Rover 75 Connoisseur Automatic CDTi

The exact model wasn't always recorded, a Conny SE could be down as just as Conny etc etc.
Long and short is there are probably a lot more than the numbers you have, but recorded as slightly different things with the DVLA.
