Then the most likely culprit is the oil cooler, disconnect both coolant pipes to it and join them together, top the header tank up once you've done it, then clean the oil cap out, take it for a spin and check the cap for mayo again, it should be alot less.

When the engine has been allowed to cool over night remove the coolant cap and have a sniff for exhaust gases, believe me, if the hg has gone you'll smell it.
