I never managed to get TMC working on my MK3 unit, despite having several Rover/BMW/Navtech discs including the correct Navtech 2015 final edition disks that were supposed to support it. However, upgrading to a MK4 unit and the latest 2019-2020 disc, it works perfectly and ultimately an awful lot more usable even on the original 4x3 Bordmonitor.
