I was thinking of you today while working on Mrs MB's Classicasseur.

When checking it over for the MOT and freeing off the rusted fasteners so I can drop the exhaust ready for fitting the new backbox, I detected play in the lower front arms.

So the offside was done first, the pinch bolt was wasted to a 12mm A/F hex, the centre ball joint nut was FT, but after cracking the M14 bolts on the bushes.......three minutes

Once I had the arm off, I looked at the bush I fitted four years ago, still perfect, and unbelievably still with traces of Renolit Red rubber grease used when I fitted them back in the day

So with nothing to lose, I pressed them off the old arms without damage, and fitted them to the replacement arms.

Bear in mind these are patchloc bolts originally, so don't slather them in coppaslip
