Well blow me
I've just tried it in three different locations between a quarter and a half mile away from home and both handsets worked every time in each. I returned home,put it on the drive and nothing from either handset. I've just tried the handset for the 45 which is on the drive and that works. I'm flabbergasted.will see if the 75 handsets start to work again while on the drive.
