Very easy to do as as described above, less so if a previous owner has used some form of industrial strength plastic to glue it to the bodywork : duh:

Luckily mine were easy to get off, once i found my 8mm spanner, I spent more time hunting down the spanner, than the time it took to change both seals, I purchased an set off ebay, quality looked to be good, and i scrapped off and cleaned any sealant from the bodywork and put on new sealant as well as new seals, so that the light clusters are watertight,
I did find one strange thing though, an old bulb left inside the Offside lens cluster, i checked and there was no bulbs missing .
