Thanks for the suggestion. I did think about trying something like this but I am worried that as well as putting more pressure on the two pipes it will also mean that movement / vibration from the engine will be transferred onto the aircon pipe and condenser. If possible I'd like to keep the two separate if possible.

So unless anyone else has any other suggestions I will probably have to remove the front of the car again. I and also worried about damaging the aircon pipe while bending it.

Any further tips or suggestions gratefully received.
