Also toaf can enable headlamp washers and the bbus alarm if you have the toaf software. Enabled headlamp washers on two of our cars when I retrofitted headlamp washers.
Alternatively you could fit a switch inside the car to enable/disable the headlamp washers.

I was going by what my MOT tester told me. Oh well I have the best of both worlds now with the way Ive got them set up. Can use them or not depending on the time of year I guess
