The Sunday Times says the new CEO at JLR is looking at ditching its forthcoming electric XJ saloon, as well as the XE and XF saloons and the Discovery Sport SUV and a Jaguar SUV due to poor sales and losses in the Jaguar arm of the business. Apparently he wants to take Jaguar more up market to take on Tesla in the longer term.
