The aerial cable runs from the amp. on the nearside D pilar down behind the rear seat bolster, then under the carpet beneath the rear door and under the carpet below the passenger door. Then, behind the glove box and out through the top left of the radio aperture.
Also, check that you have a 12v supply to the aerial amp, this comes from the large BMW plug in the back of the radio.
